Siemens provided the technologies and system to include all digital representations and sensoring, allowing for a full cyber physical production system that can be integrated in any plant that requires botteling.

About : Erik Jan van den Heuvel has 29 years of experience in process analytical (online), general analytical science (from bench to online) and fundamental problem solving (problem solving in manufacturing). He is the Global IT Leader for Data Services, Process Analytical and Analytical Operations in the Continuous Improvement Center of Excellence at The Dow Chemical Company. Erik Jan has been leading global diverse technical teams using advanced scientific tools and methods while applying fundamental scientific approaches to target and solve complex, high-value plant problems and develops advanced systems to optimize plant operating disciplines.
His current roles also link him to the Industry 4.0 initiative in Dow as one of the focal points for the Analytics platform and as the Industry 4.0 contact for the Terneuzen site, one of the largest Dow production sites located in the South West of the Netherlands.
